Peter Gillham has more than 40 years’ experience in the electrical distribution industry in both the corporate and private sectors. For the last 30 years he has been involved in asset inspection together with technical standards procedures involving all aspects of electrical safety and project compliance to meet legislative requirements. Peter remains passionate about ensuring safety and reliability on the electrical distribution network. He is keen to share his perspective in his current role of Contestable Works Team Leader with the Powercor Contestable Works Team.

Michael Bailey
Grampian’s Regional Director – Department of Transport and Planning

Born and bred in the western region, Michael returned to Stawell in 2015 to work with the Northern Grampians Shire Council, most recently as its Chief Executive Officer. Working in the government and community space for over 20 years, Michael has a strong history in leading teams to deliver favourable outcomes. Among the things he enjoys, Michael notes spending time with his family and a passion for the outdoors, particularly water skiing. He looks forward to spending time in the amazing skiing locations that the north and west of our region have to offer. With a community and economic development background, Michael has a clear understanding of what a safe, well planned and developed transport network can provide to the wider Grampians region.

Tim Day
Asset Manager – Pyrenees Shire Council

My current position is Asset Manager at Pyrenees Shire Council. I have lived and worked in western Victoria for the last 10 years. I preceding this with an extended period working in Central Australia with project and program delivery into Central Australia, the Kimberly in WA, Arnhem Land in the NT and the Great Victoria Desert in SA.

I have been working predominantly in public sector infrastructure roles during the past 30 years with the last 15 years spent in local government. My experience spans housing and building construction, civil construction, asset management and project management.

During my career I have the opportunity to turn my hand to all manner of construction challenges including those associated with difficult access into very remote locations. I have extensive practical experience in construction as well as experience in the design and project delivery of roads, bridges, stormwater, airstrips, water supplies, housing and commercial structures.
